This is a great introduction into learning how to center clay, creating everyday forms like plates, bowls, and mugs -the basics of glazing and the science behind kiln firing. 8 weeks of laughing, making a mess and building your confidence while learning a new skill. 

The cost of clay is not included and runs about 30$ per 25lbs. Bag - which lasts almost the entire class. I usually offer reclaimed clay at a discount after that. 

This class is taught at the Coquille Valley Art Association. The dates for this class are July 31 -Sept18 th at 2 pm and 5 pm.
