Black and White Collection

We will begin this class by cutting our 2 tiles out of a slab of clay. From there we get to explore several ways of adding or subtracting decorative components. We will talk about and try sgraphito, additive sculptural elements and faceting. 

Each class will last a few hours and will take place at Coastal Blooms flower farm. The studio is often breezy, and you can expect to get a little bit messy, so dress appropriately. Sometimes it is also helpful to have an idea or sketches ready to base your design off of. I highly encourage thinking about your design ahead of time.

pick up for your tile will be two weeks later as they need time to dry, undergo firings and have a clear glaze applied.
